THE STORY:
"I still remember wandering through Rome one afternoon, camera in hand, just soaking up the city’s magic. I’d been exploring for hours, taking in the ancient ruins and vibrant streets, when I stumbled upon an angel statue standing high near the grand Monument to Victor Emmanuel II structure. It was perched atop a column, seeming to float effortlessly against the backdrop of the clear blue sky and floating clouds. The angel’s wings were spread wide, and the intricate details of the statue were highlighted by the bright early afternoon sun. The contrast between the solidity of the stone and the softness of the sky created this incredible effect, making it look like the angel was floating in a dream. Looking at the picture later, I felt like I’d managed to capture not just a beautiful statue, but a moment of pure, serene beauty amidst the hustle of Rome.
